COVID-19
I have put some extra measures in place to help prevent the spread of covid 19 in my setting which include the following:
- All visitors, including parents, are to wear face coverings and use the hand sanitiser provided.
- The cloakroom has washable single use hand towels to avoid cross contamination.
- Children must wash their hands:
- on arrival
- before they eat
- before and during cookery sessions
- after going to the toilet or having nappy changed
- when they come in from outside, when returning from outings
- after messy play
- after wiping their nose
- Hand sanitiser will be used on outings where no hand washing facilities are available. (at parks after using play equipment, before any snacks etc.)
- We have daily outings in the morning to outdoor sites and the afternoons are for free play where the children can play outdoors in the well resourced garden as well as in the house.
- Soft toys have been kept to a minimum.
- Children who need a sleep during the session will have their own bedding which is washed regularly.
- Children have their own aprons to wear for food which has a clear label attached with Velcro.
